Denver Cruisers photo in Kickstand Magazine #8
I just picked up the current issue of Kickstand Magazine, which features a photo I took at the Denver Cruiser Rave Ride last summer (here is the original shot). Special thanks to Brad K. Evans for publishing the photo and pimping VELFILM!
I try to partake in the weekly Denver Cruiser Ride whenever I get a chance. It’s mind-boggling how this event has grown to such huge proportions, bringing together thousands of people on bicycles to the streets of Denver every week. You can search my blog archives to see photos from some of the past Denver Cruiser rides over the last couple of years.
If you like leisure biking, custom cruisers and all kinds of fun on two wheels, be sure to check out Kickstand Magazine!

Denver Cruisers photo in Momentum Magazine
UPDATE:
You can now read the entire current issue of Momentum Magazine online.
Or, go straight to the page with my photo :)
One of my photos from last year’s Denver Cruiser ride was published in the July/August issue of Momentum Magazine (#46). I don’t think it’s one of my best shots, but the fact is – it’s my first photo ever published by a national print publication, and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t proud of that fact :) Here’s hoping to many more.
Artopia Pre-Party at Bar Standard, Rockstar Aaron’s Carnival Birthday Bash, Denver Cruisers and more… Oh my!
As it seems to happen a lot lately, I had a pretty busy couple of weeks. And, as is usually the case when that happens, I’ve neglected updating this blog in a timely manner. Fear not, for with one swift entry I shall catch up on everything that has been going on in my not-so-exciting life. Ready?
Click on the links to see the exclusive articles and photos on Examiner.com, or check out the embedded slideshows below for a wider selection of shots on my Flickr stream.
February 10 – Artopia Pre-Party at Bar Standard
This year, Westword’s Artopia promises to be bigger and more exciting than ever, spanning 4 venues and pretty much taking over the entire city block for the annual art-food-fashion-and-music party. I’m in no way affiliated with Westword, but I had so much fun at last year’s Artopia that I couldn’t resist bringing my camera this time around.
February 12 – Rockstar Aaron’s Carnival Birthday Bash at the Rockbar
This was one hell of a fun event. DJ Rockstar Aaron is known for throwing crazy parties for his Birthday every year, and this time was no exception. The party was hosted by Naughty Pierre Jean-Pierre St. Pierre and featured stilt walkers, burlesque performances by Lannie’s cabaret dancers Midnight Martini and Peggy Tulane, cameos by Maris the Great, Faggoria, Sid Pink and a slew of other colorful characters. There were clowns, little people, Single Ladies flash mob, and much more. The entire night seems like a blur to me now, but thankfully I have photos as evidence that it did, in fact, happen.
February 13 – I (heart) Cruisers at Casselman’s Bar and Venue
I (heart) Cruisers was a cruiser bike-themed Valentine’s Day party hosted by Denver Cruisers, which featured a fine art photography exhibit by Todd Van Fleet, music by DJ Ginger Perry, face painting, cruiser bike show, giveaways, a silent auction, and other cool stuff.

Denver Cruisers – Ski Bums and Ski Bunnies (9/30/09) – Part 1 of 2
As I get more busy with work and outside projects, keeping this blog up-to-date can be somewhat difficult. However, I will continue to post on a regular basis, even if some of the subjects or events covered are a few weeks/months behind :)
Below are some of the photos form the last official Denver Cruisers ride of 2009, which took place on September 30th. To see the entire set, please visit my Flickr photo stream (or go straight to the Flickr slideshow). Also, be sure to check out my Denver Cruisers articles and slideshows on Examiner.com.
The ride started out at the usual Denver Cruisers meeting point – The Ginn Mill, and then proceeded to Lodo’s Bar and Grill.
